Despite the overwhelming Snooki look-a-likes waiting for LIV to open at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, a decidedly more fashionable event took place at the resort, away from the aforementioned flashy nightclub. The always glamorous Bal Harbour Shops brought the first ever U.S. runway show for Lanvin this past Saturday, benefiting the Project: New Born Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The lavish event — complete with a silent auction, dinner, entertainment and dancing — certainly upped the ante of high fashion in Miami.
